My daughter is just starting up for the first time (5th grade) and this video is very inspiring. Love the team spirit and amazing talent these girls have for this game. Also, the video and music, awesome! Wish I could put something together, but think the time committment may be too much. Nice job to all!

@VDPSC if you are interested, I'd be glad to walk you through how to make this type of video. Really not that hard or time consuming. $300 digital video camera, $100 computer software or less. One hour after each recorded game to get rid of the bad clips and sort the good ones by player number. pick out a song and the end of the season put the clips in a series alternating through the roster. Stop the video camera after each point and just follow the ball around. Each game from diff angle

Each girl on our HS team had to fork over $1000 to play. It's a bunch, but maybe you can do it for less. Don't let $'s get in the way. Ask your Gym teacher how much would it take. Get 12 to 15 girls (mostly tall ones) and go get the $'s.

@Candygobbler Keep playing in club, that's where the college coaches scout. I was a junior in this video (#4 1:59) and a good (not great) player. I'm now a freshman with a full ride to a division one college. If you want some tips on how to maximize your chances to play in college, let me know.

i wish i could of made my volleyball team. Went out for the conditioning and then i couldnt go back due to family issues.....now i gotta wait till the start of my Junior year. =(. Wish i caught the volleyball bug a little earlier.

I wish we could wear spandex at our christian school, I hate baggy shorts. our jerseys are baggy too and everyone has to order a size thats a size bigger for them? which is really stupid lol

Spandex is cool, but don't let clothes define you. Kick some but out there! If you strive to win, people won't be focusing on your baggy clothes but will be seeing your spirit.

oh believe me, I strive big time ha, but I wish my team did. Mabey they're just shy because we arent doing so well, they just gotta learn to shake the bad off. We played AMAZING this one time we had another coach fill in for our current ones. The ones we have now only criticize and yell everytime they call a time out and then everyone gets all bummed out when they get back in the game. I'm sure your coach is amazing(:
