in iceland they speak icelandic. it's similar to norwegian and swedish but not as distinguishable by speakers of those languages. the vocals in most of their music isn't an actual language at all though. it's like "scat" in english music.

not entirely true. most of their music does actually include true icelandic. Their album ( ) is an entire album which uses vocals with no language attached (which has been coined Hopelandic). However, the rest of their work uses a majority of icelandic.
