I actually dont like how you learn the game this much its a bit over the top a real gamer would be able to beat the game without needing that much prep it is not even fun anymore if you pick every last spawn and item everywhere then there is no suprrises or anything just going through the motions
Like many Youtube gamers, you are totally confused about the definition of 'walkthrough'. And wth are you talking about picking up every last item? I did nothing of the sort in this hard core run. Quite the opposite is true. I skipped over so much stuff that some people complained.
It's NOT weak. It's much appreciated. Approaching 15,000 subs. Partnered channel. And people clearly want to see stuff in video format. The statistics clearly show. Online video is booming. You know, DENIAL is more than just a big river in Egypt. :D

First of all, maybe you should try stringing together a single, grammatically-correct sentence with proper punctuation and you might be better understood. Secondly, there is absolutely no general consensus that DS2 hard core is 'no challenge'. You talk the talk. Let's see you WALK THE WALK. And thirdly, if you don't see where you are in denial saying walkthroughs don't belong in video format then I think you're probably a little too obtuse to be debating with.

Hello Slack, with you making a Q&A in this video it got me wondering (but possibly someone already asked this before and I didn't read the comment, so if someone knows please do tell me) if you had already checked out a game call Serious Sam 3:BFE. I'm asking because it's what I'd call simple mindless fun and it might be a game you can enjoy. I'm not asking for a walkthrough because it doesn't really need one since it's pretty straight forward and it doesn't require any complicated tactics.
Skyrim's available on steam. I hold no hopes for a walkthough though, Elder Scrolls games aren't really the kind of thing you can MAKE a walkthrough for. Taking a couple weeks to learn dead space or something that's one thing, but Todd Howard said skyrim's got over a thousand hours of gameplay, it would be impossible to make a Slack quality walkthrough for it, It's unreasonable to expect it. PS: I plan on getting your book, but I'm going to wait until I get my new rig so I can celebrate with it.

I'd say Skyrim's only good for a let's play simply due to the sheer breadth of content in the game. It'd take years for one person to do a proper, Slack quality if you like, video walkthrough of every quest, let alone every dungeon.
Oh and @MajorSlackVideos - don't you get your games via Steam? I mean I prefer a hard copy too but if the shops are sold out I'd turn to Steam in a heartbeat.

Crysis Warhead I cannot wait!! Even though I have finished it I cant wait for this series. Crysis 2 however if I were you, I would not bother. Everything great about Crysis was taken and spat on with crysis 2. Typical linear fps. Just my opinion though you of course may completely disagree.

I played Skyrim when my Nephew rented it and I... didn't like it! Seriously, not at all. Just not my kind of game, I guess. Major Slack's channel seems is a perfect fit for me because I am not a gamer. If anything, I am a very casual gamer. When I buy games, I buy used because by the time I buy them, they have already been out forever and everyone else is sick of them! I didn't even buy the first DS until this past September. lol Slack uploads vids that are relevant to what I am playing now. :)

Great burp! fully understand where you coming from slack. I spent months on borderlands while everyone else was going from game to game. I still thrash it. It's one of the very limited games that I can play split screen co op with my wife.(her cursing is shocking!)

I have yet to beat Skyrim. I have several side quest to do enormous amounts of land to cover and over all way to much to do in the game.
I can't even begin to imagine trying to come up with a walkthrough for the game. Especially with the tremendous amount of effort that you put in to making your walkthroughs. the time it would take to finish ever thing in Skyrim would take forever yet alone spending 6-12 play-throughs coming up with a strategy for it.
Ha ha.. I go there all the time. Just up the street from us. But Game Buzz in the Eaton Centre has a better chance of getting new PC games. Futureshop often drags their heels getting in new releases.

How anyone has the time to play countless games i'll never know. The impatience of youth maybe? :P. I must have 20 games waiting for me to play and no time to play them :(. I just finished fallout 3 + DLC and thats took me over a year to complete. I sucked every last drop of enjoyment out of it going to every location and every quest. One question Slack, do you still at some point going to do a walkthrough of the atomic playboys lastest outting or did the reviews put you off?
Yeah Haze for ps3 looked good in trailer but once I got it, and played it, it was like a cheap immitation of "fear's" movement, and the gameplay is kinda glitchy/clunky\and\sloppier than army of two. PS3 games tend to suck any way. PC and Xbox 360 is where it's at.
Slack, I think a lot of us can see the amount of work that you do for these videos. The blind walkthroughs are fun to watch, but the thought-out and researched ones are much better. Keep up the good work and have a merry Christmas.

Skyrim: Has a massive singleplayer and the quests branch out to the point where you can't finish them all, which means there is an infinitely different ways to play it.
COD: Most linear singleplayer available and the multiplayer has been the same for 5 years.

Slack since you are always busy and like you said you dont have enough of time even to play a video game just for fun and it also takes a lot of time to make a walkthrough well if you for say were sponsored by machinima and they paid you enough for it to be your one and only job well then would you be able to make alot more videos and walkthroughs??

@MajorSlackVideos Oh hm. Well personally I love steam. I've only had to email tech support a few times, and it's been fine for me. I'm also not much of a collector, and it's a blessing for myself to not have hardcases lying around.I've also had problems with pc disks, like Fallout 3 - Barely worked. I just feel like Steam is so much more streamlined and convenient.
There's a glitch in their email support system where if you register an account to have tech support from Steam, they sometimes DON'T send you the confirmation email so that you can officially open an account. And I'm one of those people who never got the confirmation email even though tried opening an account many times. Hence NO TECH SUPPORT. A lot of people have complained about this but nothing is ever done. I am NEVER buying another Steam game again.
instead of people giving requests maybe (this is just a suggestion) you should put out a list of games u have (or will might get) and have a questionnaire to see what other people think you should do videos or walkthroughs of?

Probably not. When I bought RE5, I didn't know it was like this co-op thing with an NPC. And a dumb NPC at that (or so I've heard). Had I known that, I never would have bought it. It's way down on my to-do list.
@MajorSlackVideos You are absolutely right about the whole dumb NPC thing. Getting in your way while you try to shoot, picking up your items etc. I did however enjoy the story :)
But anyway, can't wait for the rest of the Hardcore run and the Crysis Warhead walkthrough. I never played that one, but finally have a new pc and that game, so I'm going to try that out soon after Assassins Creed 2. But keep it coming mate!

I'd say Skyrim's only good for a let's play simply due to the sheer breadth of content in the game. It'd take years for one person to do a proper, Slack quality if you like, video walkthrough of every quest, let alone every dungeon.
Oh and @MajorSlackVideos - don't you get your games via Steam? I mean I prefer a hard copy too but if the shops are sold out I'd turn to Steam in a heartbeat.

Crysis Warhead I cannot wait!! Even though I have finished it I cant wait for this series. Crysis 2 however if I were you, I would not bother. Everything great about Crysis was taken and spat on with crysis 2. Typical linear fps. Just my opinion though you of course may completely disagree.

I played Skyrim when my Nephew rented it and I... didn't like it! Seriously, not at all. Just not my kind of game, I guess. Major Slack's channel seems is a perfect fit for me because I am not a gamer. If anything, I am a very casual gamer. When I buy games, I buy used because by the time I buy them, they have already been out forever and everyone else is sick of them! I didn't even buy the first DS until this past September. lol Slack uploads vids that are relevant to what I am playing now. :)

Great burp! fully understand where you coming from slack. I spent months on borderlands while everyone else was going from game to game. I still thrash it. It's one of the very limited games that I can play split screen co op with my wife.(her cursing is shocking!)

I couldn't find a release date for Bioshock Infinite either. Then one day I was on Newegg and it was just there for pre-order. Said the release date is Feb 7. Now get to it Slack! And I read your channel so Msendew4.

I have yet to beat Skyrim. I have several side quest to do enormous amounts of land to cover and over all way to much to do in the game.
I can't even begin to imagine trying to come up with a walkthrough for the game. Especially with the tremendous amount of effort that you put in to making your walkthroughs. the time it would take to finish ever thing in Skyrim would take forever yet alone spending 6-12 play-throughs coming up with a strategy for it.

How anyone has the time to play countless games i'll never know. The impatience of youth maybe? :P. I must have 20 games waiting for me to play and no time to play them :(. I just finished fallout 3 + DLC and thats took me over a year to complete. I sucked every last drop of enjoyment out of it going to every location and every quest. One question Slack, do you still at some point going to do a walkthrough of the atomic playboys lastest outting or did the reviews put you off?

Yeah Haze for ps3 looked good in trailer but once I got it, and played it, it was like a cheap immitation of "fear's" movement, and the gameplay is kinda glitchy/clunky\and\sloppier than army of two. PS3 games tend to suck any way. PC and Xbox 360 is where it's at.

Oh, and thank you for NOT doing Skyrim. Your reasoning is sound.
Same thing for most COD games. What's to walkthrough? Fire, forget, repeat. Lame.
RAGE, OTOH, is a good choice. It's quite a fun game, although quite linear. It lends itself to different strategies, with different weapons.
Same for RE5.
A HalfLife 3 walkthrough would be excellent. I'll get Gabe on to that.

Skyrim: Has a massive singleplayer and the quests branch out to the point where you can't finish them all, which means there is an infinitely different ways to play it.
COD: Most linear singleplayer available and the multiplayer has been the same for 5 years.
RAGE: Awesome. Just. Awesome.
RE5: Shit. Just. Shit.

slack i try to remember to like it and everytime you say that leave a thumbs up and usually i have a playlist and then it says thumbs up and it skips to next video and i usually do but i really don't think you should do skyrim it is a great game and i will plays it many times and but skyrim is just not a slack type game but yeah stick to the slack type games and skyrim would take like a year maybe more to make a 'slack' walkthrough

I'm also not much of a collector, and it's a blessing for myself to not have hardcases lying around.I've also had problems with pc disks, like Fallout 3 - Barely worked. I just feel like Steam is so much more streamlined and convenient.

There's a glitch in their email support system where if you register an account to have tech support from Steam, they sometimes DON'T send you the confirmation email so that you can officially open an account. And I'm one of those people who never got the confirmation email even though tried opening an account many times. Hence NO TECH SUPPORT. A lot of people have complained about this but nothing is ever done. I am NEVER buying another Steam game again.

Another great video from the Slack! Really loving this Hardcore run, although I am moving a bit slower on normal atm... (Too scared XD)
But gotta ask. You mentioned RE5 in your video. Are you going to make a walkthrough for it? I have played the game a lot of times, almost finished it with every secret/achievement (Xbox version), so I'm not asking for a walkthrough because of the videogame smarts needed, but because of the awesome way you entertain us during your videos!

Probably not. When I bought RE5, I didn't know it was like this co-op thing with an NPC. And a dumb NPC at that (or so I've heard). Had I known that, I never would have bought it. It's way down on my to-do list.

@MajorSlackVideos You are absolutely right about the whole dumb NPC thing. Getting in your way while you try to shoot, picking up your items etc. I did however enjoy the story :)
But anyway, can't wait for the rest of the Hardcore run and the Crysis Warhead walkthrough. I never played that one, but finally have a new pc and that game, so I'm going to try that out soon after Assassins Creed 2. But keep it coming mate!
