Hi, the VI planes a little later than the V but is nicer in chop due to the double concaves in the nose, narrower width etc. I didn't have the board long enough to reach its full speed potential due to family comittments but low 40's on a speed strip would have been do-able.
Ok thanks. Im looking at upgrading my old gear to something a bit newer and the V and VI seem like the way to go.

How did you find the board?
Can you get on the plane quickly and what was the speed like?
