try wearing a baseball hat and a book pack with one good sized book. Do whatever it takes to keep your hat level (bill pulled down to eye level) do whatever it takes to keep the book from bouncing in you back pack. In this video, you still look a lot better than most folks out there!
It's hard to do it on a threadmill. The forces are not the same compared to running on the ground. I stopped using the threadmill and have been running on the ground again. Not perfect Pose but somehow new running technique causes me no more pain . I can run 3 times a week now 1.5 mile each time.
You're not the only one. Me, too. It's hard to do Pose method on a threadmill. Better to do it on real ground. The forces are not the same between the threadmill and ground. I stopped using threadmill and been practicing on the ground. Not Perfecr pose yet, but gaining progress. I can run every other day now without pain. I may get the EZ running belt for Pose since I don't have anybody coaching me or taking videos of me running. Don't quit.
I have been teaching Pose Running with Dr. Romanov for a few years and after looking at the video (and the previous one) can tell you the following: - it is not Pose running (it either is or it isn't ), you are actively landing and the GCM is behing your support in every frame - at times you even touch down on the heels - this is NOT a Pose drill and it is not a dril that promotes correct muscle memory. - we do not recommend drills on a treadmill
no its not the same thing. pose uses gravity on the ground, treadmills or self-propelled. you can pose on the treadmill, and on the ground, but they are different. get the book, it really helps more than the jargan of crap on youtube (nothing against this video, keep it up!)

Yeah, I still haven't "gotten" the whole pose running thing.

I was wondering that. So running on a treadmill alters running mechanics?

How you run is how you run on the treadmill or on the ground

it is gravity that makes you able to use a treadmill, ask the NASA doctors.
Every runner uses gravity when they run, if they didn't they would be flying or floating or levitating.

Nope running on a treadmill doesn't alter mechanics.
Unless you are specifically training to alter your mechanics on a treadmill.

is does very much so. I can tell a major difference in stride length and cadence between the two.

isn't there a video on youtube of Dr. R demonstrating how to use a treadmill? Isn't there one on the POSE website?

Hi,
where is the POSE ??? ... running on a treatmill with POSE is very very hard to practise! Go out in the forrest/track&field to learn proper :-)
