I did this same test in an enology class this semester and was absolutely astounded by the impact that different glasses have on your perception of a wine.

I agree with you. Before I got into wine, I was really into beer. There is a big difference between serving a hefeweizen (unfiltered yeast beer) in a hefe glass and serving it in a stein. There's something about it that just really opens up the phenols with all the banana-peach nuances.

I heard of this before but I need to try it out for myself. Obviously you wern't drunk like drew thinks. You were taking sips if any, and the whole bottle isn't gone. Anyways, I think its worth doing to check out which glasses are best. I think it would be cool to try it with same shape different matterial.
