  • Great great video! Pepper can really play the blues & Witherspoon is a great blues singer. Read that when Pepper was 16 or 17 went into all the Jazz Clubs he could on Central Ave & sat in. His up & down head moves reminded me of Ray Charles. Read that Pepper was a big fan of Ray Charles & Charles was a great alto saxophonist. On the incredible'Soul Brothers' album w MiltJackson Charles plays alto saxophone & sounds like Pepper. Too bad Pepper & Charles never recorded a blues album together.
