  • thankyouuu x

  • thank you really simple and easy xxxxx

  • Cheater

  • i wanted to know how to do it with just my hair

  • @napturalkassie it's quite hard ive done it before though

put your hair in a low pony tail.

section your hair into four peices.

depending on how long your hair is this might not work...

twirl your sections one by one round the pony tail bobbles

!! Hope this helped (this is also called a messy bun btw ) xx

  • this video actually helped me because all of those other videos use socks and for competition your not gonna use a sock in your hair so yeah thanks :)

  • I WILL TRY THIS ON MY DAUGHTER... THANKS!

  • you can roll up a sock and put a hole in the center in stead of that thing

  • That's really nice! I love the fact that you don't have to use like 500 bobby pins. Since i am a dancer myself it was really hard to do this sort of thing especially since i have thick hair without pins flying out all over the place. Great video

  • It looks too big for her head...

  • If you take it to the ends and roll it, it'll roll up the hair until you get to the roots. Then there's no extra hair and your hair will be curly the next day

  • I never new it was so easy!

  • i was wondering how people had such perfect bunsss

  • 0:01 you welcome

  • verry nice..!!! thanx

  • Can i just use a donut instead of that thingy??

  • @aliyahjazzyg lmfao

  • @aliyahjazzyg LOL

  • @aliyahjazzyg

It is a donut isnt it?xx

  • @aliyahjazzyg It is a doughnut but they call it something different .

  • @aliyahjazzyg lol!!!!!!

  • @aliyahjazzyg haha you made me laugh.

  • @aliyahjazzyg You can just use a sock! I've got a video on my channel showing how to do this with a sock, check it out!! xx

  • @aliyahjazzyg its the same thing

  • Oh my gosh I love it! Thank you!

  • luv it

  • wow that looks super easy... i like it :))

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!

  • O.O

that was so fast. my hair is pretty long and thick (i should probably cut it soon), it takes me forever to to that and it doesnt even look as good as yours.

    thanks for the vid

  • I loved it! I've been wanting to do it like this to my lil girl, now i know how :D

  • Thank you so much, i bought the hair doughnut after watching this and i LOVE it!!

  • NICE!

  • You can get those at clairs too

  • My little sister is going to love this for her Ballet class! ^_^

  • DOUGHNUT

  • @XsweetcookieX YESS!!

  • omg i need to get that weird transparent thingy!!!!!

  • where else can you buy them, like Wal Mart, CVS, etc? I dont do ballet (though I think I'd be good at it) but I'd like to try this.

  • thats what you call a perfect bun!

  • I really like this style, i wear it to dance. The only problem is that my hair is fairly long so when you have to wrap the peices around the bun they stick out so i usually do a different type of bun.

  • I have the bun foundation but I have layers so little pieces always stick out

  • yet another way life has been made easier on humans, jeeze next we'll have bills that pay themselves . . . oh wait we already do dont we? o.O

  • I use this all the time for ballet. Thanks so much!!

  • I'm an ice skater and I never knew of those things. I had to stick with the plain ponytail bun, I call it the loop bun because the hair is pulled halfway through the ponytail holder. Thanks so much for this, I'll now have variety when I skate!! :)

  • THANK YOU! I was having so much trouble with the hairs that stick out XD *out buying a hairnet

  • Thanks for this video! Altho when you said that you liked the accessory because of how it matches the hair color, then I think a black sock would do for my black asian hair. Besides, I haven't seen this around here in Manila...but will be looking out for it for sure! Thanks! ^_^

  • your instruction is really good even my husband can do it your way lol thank you very much:)

  • Love it

  • Gjk

  • it looks like a buthole

  • These things are absolutely neat!! I used them when I did syncronized swimming we called them donuts! I got mine at the 99 cnt store it works great it is made by goody.

  • can we make that net in home

  • @figureecie Ty

  • vey nice

  • super cute!

  • Wow so pretty! ^_^

  • That's beautiful!

  • R u in Victoria or where can I buy the donut bun thing

  • Thank you for this. We need to do this for our marching band show, the Far East, and this works so well. :D

  • thanks i have to show my mom this because i have 2 ballet classes a week and im competing alot

  • Where did u buy the hair net and bun thing ??

  • @purpleroxtar2000 you can get both at rite aid

  • thanks so much this video was de greatist help ever!!!!!! :)

  • Can you just use a normal scrunchy ?

  • doesn't it fall of when doing jumps or heavy dance routines? :P i just hate it when that happens...

  • Very good. Bjos

  • daughters*

  • Ok so i have a few questions, i am a dancer and would it stay up and not fall out while dancing? And i have layered hair so will i just have to do this and then gel or bobby pin the hairs that dont quite make it? by the way , your dauters hair is gorgeous! :)

  • @kelseylilyflower It depends how intense your dance lessons are, for me this would never stay in but that's probably because I have 6-8 hours of dance at a time aha, my hair is layered as well, so yes, gel it back and pin it, also, if you do a bun further up on your head it will mean more strands will reach it so you'll have less short bits to deal with =)

  • thank you. I have that hair donut/bun former and I have had that problem with the hair out around the edges (I twist and wrap them, but that takes too long on the days I oversleep. I will be going to the beauty supply and picking up that hair net tomorrow.

  • Can this work with really long hair?

  • AWESOME That Is One PERFECT BUN

  • Do u have shorter doughnut looking things?

  • Gosh! I love these ! I've known how to do them for a long time now, but there so lovely and perfect! I just wanna hump em' ! x

  • I got a bun sensation thing and it really works. Thanks for showing me!

  • cool. :D

  • I have one of those for figure skating and I do the same thing except I sew in the hair net to keep it secure. :)

  • Wow!

  • well done

  • This is the best doughnut bun tutorial I've seen so far. I never thought about using a hair net but it makes sense. It would make it so much easier when doing this style on yourself.

  • thank you so much usually it takes me for ever to do a bun.

thanks to you it takes only 5 minutes..........

  • It's called a doughnut. :L

  • ugggs i tried tht once for my dance class, first pirouette i did and everything flew everywere even though I put in like 20 bobby pins, i find tht if its for like a dance, that just gelling a ponnytale twisting it then securing it with spiral bobypins or these huge bobby pins that they sell at most dance supply shops is good for a tight and secure bun, but the bun in this video is sooo pretty nd thnx for lettin us noe bout the hair collored bun foundation :)

  • wow thanks for the great idea now i can do a perfict bun in like 5 mins!!

  • Thank you so much for this video. I done this bun for my prom. It looked really cute :)

  • for example if youre a dancer and jump around a lot, would a few hairpins secure it for a show?

  • @theblueberrypancake i would put in more than a few to be sure haha that m=would be embarrassing if it all came out

  • nice can this be use for short hair too

  • So perfect ....

  • You sound like Susan Sarandon

  • the thing about the round thingo that you put inside the bun is that it makes the bin really big... oh well, it looks really round!

  • sooo perfect! i got one of those bun molds from CVS yesterday, so i will definitely try this out. my hair is kinda thin so i will add pieces of hair extensions for fullness.

  • wow, this is beautiful. I will definitely try this one.

  • Comment removed

  • Does this work on really, really, thick hair?

  • @EmilyBearfan Yes it does because i have thick hair and i did it good

  • @SaysKiki Yeah, we tried it, but my hair is too long. It puddles underneath the net. :( I'm getting it cut tomorrow!

  • @EmilyBearfan yeah proably cuz my hairs not that long :o

  • I love it!!!!!!!!

  • This is a great tutorial I love it! I used it for my sister isabel. She had a figure skating competition she looked beautiful. You can see her video on my account. Isabel Dubbeld kunstschaatsen clubwedstrijd. Do you know more special buns for dancing/skating/ballet? I don't want to do the same bun every time :p

    Xx

  • @MagicIceStar Thank you! Your sister's hair turned out cute. :)

  • @hair4myprincess

I noticed that her hair is very shiney and soft-looking(?).. Do you do anything special to make her hair like that, or is it naturally like? love your videos!

  • @hair4myprincess were i live they don't have these bun foundations so i was wondering if you could do a video on how to make a perfect ballet bun without it? anywasys love your videos!!

  • I am a dancer and I've never used one of those things! wow i didn't even know they existed! haha i've always just twisted my hair and just wrapped it around my hair tie. this would be sooooo much easier

  • Those who don't have this equipment, can use a very thick rubber-band instead. Works just as well.

  • @lovess2dance Yes, she does. She loves it. :)

  • what to do if you have really long hair..my hair is wrist long ,and i really love this hairstyle but it doesnt work for me any suggestions ?!

  • @vsmash14 You can use a sock and pull your hair down to the end of the sock bun and roll towards your head. I have to use a sock on my daughter's longer hair too.

  • @SGmom2 This is a great idea. :)

  • @vsmash14 You could twist her hair around and around the bun mold and pin all the ends in place, or you may not need the mold at all. If you look through the videos on my channel there is one called the "cinderella hairstyle" maybe that one would work better? Good luck!

  • **TFS** cute**

  • So cuute!! Please make more vids:D

  • Super cute n fun ;) thanks 4 making vid.s plz keep making much more :D

  • omg i want one of those molds!

  • i never knew that people used molds...crazyness!!

  • Cute

  • :O Did you read my mind? I've been really frustrated with my daughter's dance buns lately and this is exactly what I needed. Thanks

  • Now I know why I subscribed to you! I JUST finished using my design weaver (which you recommended) to create a fun style with my locs that I'm in the process of uploading (few hours) and I was going to stop by to say thank you again for that. Then, a few weeks ago, I picked up one of those bun foundations, one for the french roll and one shaped like a tube. I couldn't figure out how to use any of them an looked online but couldn't find any vids. Thx for this one! Do you have the other 2?

  • @mylaylay18 Hi, the design weaver is great, isn't it? I do have one other foundation, not sure if it's the one you have-but my daughter's hair isn't quite long enough to use it right now. The way we used it before she got her hair cut was to add it to the ends of her hair and roll it up to the top of the ponytail and then kind of fold it into a bun shape. (Similar to the way we did our Cinderella Hairstyle) Hope that helps.

  • @hair4myprincess Yes, jt's great! We probably have the same tool too because mine isn't long enough either but that does help a lot...love your videos. Keep up the GREAT WORK!!

  • very nice !

  • can u buy it at claries?

  • iloveuseing those bun things , and no one know that its that easyy ! ;D

  • that bun came out so beautiful
