@apeprofl there are various ways of animating the water...here's one way...select 'sea', then open timeline, then move timeline to end of the animation (which will be your personal prefs)...then rightclick on the water mat (in the upper right panel..when editor opens, go to 'effects' tab, then in 'origin of material', soon as you start to adjust the arrows,, a box will pop up, asking if you want to animate it, click 'ok'...then tada, its animated...
the amount of wave action will depend on what u set the origin and velocity to..also u can adjust the wave action even more by doubleclicking the sea, when the wave editor pops up, uncheck 'use global wave control', then adjust the waves/foam, etc...if those options stay greyed out, try changing the water mat to 'liquids/metawaters/wavyshore (or foam)'.
Hi Mary. I didn't know Vue did waves! How very nice . . . Rendering times (18hrs) are just killers. If you do rework this in Sony, try reversing every other scene. It might smooth out the transition. Anyway, very nice, soothing animation. Greg.
@greg..thanks for the tip...I usually add a fade in between the clip sections to smooth transitions,, but apparently forgot to do that this time..
