The only reason I still have my wii (...save for titles like no more heroes and mad world).

Can I get any good recommendations for good Virtual console or Wii ware games? I have 1200 Wii points that I would like to spend even. Like maybe a game that costs 1200 Wii points, or two games that costs 600 Wii points each, or maybe two games that costs 500 and 700 Wii points. I already have these games: Super mario 64, Mario kart 64, Paper Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Lostwinds and Tv show king. Please answer as soon as possible. :)

Nintendo is so stupid, wen the hell r they going to add xbox360 and PS3 games to the virtual console, i dont care if the games cost 6000 points each but it would b so much easier to download them to the wii rather than goin out to the store to buy them

dude if that happened... 360 or ps3 wont sell many units and Nintendo will make all the money... the virtual console is about downloading older games from 20 years in gaming to the Nintendo 64... they will never put like ps1 or the original Xbox games on the virtual console or Nintendo will get there asses sued big time.. and plus Nintendo is not a powerhouse console..

ahh i missed the old days of gaming and now i get to enjoy them again. The wii is going to be soo awesome but sony is probably gonna steal nintendo's idea of the whole virtual console thing >:(

Not exactly. IMHO, the Virtual Console will be vastly superior to Xbox Arcade simply for the fact that you'll have access to incredible, vast library of Nintendo games. No old school Zelda or Metroid games on Xbox Arcade, so I say no thanks.

Nintendo brass have implied that Gamecube controllers can be used to control most Wii games. The Wii does have four Cube controller ports, after all.

It might be used for games that want two analog sticks. Its unclear if gamecube controllers can be used. Smash Brawl maker is talking like gamecube controlelrs can be used. Nintendo made gamecube controllers unusable with wii version of zelda (no gamecube control set up) so that people would buy the GCN version if they wanted non-swining controls (aka fatties.)
