Great video! The US has a military presence in 130 countries and when they set up puppet governments like in Iraq it is Imperialism. It is sad that war profiteers run the country. VP Dick Cheney made 70 million dollars from the war and Bush has given illegal contracts in Iraq to friends and associates as there was no fair bid for them. You might be interested to know... that since WWI, the united states has never left a state of war. We occupy countries that don't want us there under the guise of "security contracts" while pushing democracy on every one of them .. I'm assuming thats why 80% of the world hates us.

What it all boils down to is that no two countries think alike (same goes for individuals) and we need to stop pushing OUR ideas on people.

We can't just sit around waiting on God to grant us miracles and provide for us (Reminds me of our relationship with the Government..) - THATS why he gave us free will in my opinion; to see how well we solve our own problems.

I lost a lot of subs too, but don't know how many as I wasn't home and could check my channel regularly.. I think it was YouTube having a clear out, not that many people would unsub all at once.. :) It's sad about the bombs and they started an arms race that the world has never recovered from! Then again, had they not been dropped, the war would have been prolonged, and far more people would have died.. perhaps! That we will never know! I just hope the bombs will never be used again, by ANYBODY!

I can't vote in the US election, but as I've told you before I do follow the political debate in the US with great interest, as the outcome will affect the whole world! I think back to what this Country would be like today if we had elected Stevenson many years ago. Or McCarthy or McGovern. Or if JFK had not been shot. Democrats have always been better for the working class.Republicans have always favored the people with money. I also was told that there were some that subscribed just so they could unsubscribe. That had never entered my mind! The people that invented the Bomb thought it would never be used. It is really hard to know the thinking of Americas leadership. And what would have happened if Germany or Japan had the Bomb first. So really can not comment as these are unknowns. Still think we should have proved to them we had it and that we would use it rather than just using it. A show and warn thing!

I'm not sure, knowing how the mind seemed to work with the Japanese in those days.. It took a very drastic measure to make them surrender! The good outcome was that the US successfully managed to introduce democracy to Japan after the war, and it has been mantained! I dread to think what would have happened had Hitler got the bomb, no doubt he would have used it.. and you and I would not be here today.. :(

Regarding Imigration:

You know it's interesting because just today in my North San Diego County neighborhood the US BORDER PATORL actually flushed out the canyon next to 5 freeway and busted quite a few Illegal aliens. They actually took a whole family and impounded a shot out old red jeep cheroke. I have NEVER seen them do that on my street in the entire 24 years I have been living here.

It was quite refreshing to see actually. :~D

Also, Today, I was watering my fruit trees in my front yard, and I saw 4 illegal aliens walking hastily down my street in 2 groups of 2 each, about 50 yards apart. I heard one of the yell something in spanish, and I walked up to the top of my drive way just in time to see the 2nd two hurridly walk by. The look the one guy gave me told a thousand words. It was one of those "LIFE" magazine moments. He just stared at me with this look of like, THE PARTY IS OVER~ He was all sweaty and nervous.

My understanding is the decision to use "THE BOMB" to end WWII, was a "STRATEGIC" decision that was taken VERY, VERY Seriously by then President Truman. It weighed VERY heavily on him, and as your video points out, it still does lay VERY heavily on the collective soul of AMERICA.

The alternative was a GROUND INVASION that would have led to just as many ENEMY casulaties and hundreds of thousands of Allied Casulaties as well. The act of dropping "THE BOMB" saved more lives than it destroyed.

Suffice to say, that simply has not happened.

To be honest I have no knowledge of John McCain other than he is the republican party candidate. The Brits are just talking about Clinton & Obama.
