gosh when free trade comes its gunna be like 3x harder to merch.... the reason is that once free trade comes back they are going to remove the upper and lower prices... so the only time you can really merch during that period is to buy the things for low and wait for the prices of that item to go high and sell em.

@rsfan12341 erm it's actually easier to merch now. You can either buy potions thats are commonly used like saradomin brews or super restores. Basically, you buy saradomin brew (3)s and then you go to Bob the barter and decant them into 4s. For what price you have bought the potion,do (price) divided by 3 (answer) x 4 and then with your answer, add some gp to it to get profit. Theres also another flip-merch where you choose an item and buy it for a lot more than its price then see how much it buy

@rsfan12341 (continue) Find how much the item buys for.(Example) : buy rocktail at 1900 and they give back some money and you buy it for (1877). Then you sell the rocktail for 1700 and see how much it sells for (1835). Then you buy a lot of rocktails for 1835 and sell them for 1877. Hope this helps

@SynthesisEnigma I don't just merch, I do PVM a lot, and skilling. When I PVM I usually use a whip/defender with torag's armor and a neitiznot helm. It's not much and I can afford a lot better but it suits most of my needs :)

@GotBBqSawse28 I don't go out of my way to get Bandos unless I'm bossing which requires it, I generally sell it after I'm done with it, but I do have a DFS, and an AGS and SGS and Claws (which are very useful for bossing by the way) I mainly use the SGS for slayer and the AGS for PVP. When doing slayer tasks I generally bring DH body and Verac's Skirt, its the same stats as Torag top+bottom but with the prayer bonus of Verac's.

This is not merchanting.... your simply buying a bulk of an item, and waiting for the price to reach its peak. Merchanting is buying for low, selling for mid or buying for mid, and selling for high (selling shortly after buying).

Dam merchanting is a drag with a small amount its hard to finally stack up your cash to like 20m to make large profits.
