It deppends on what for. If you want lots of jangly byrds,beatles etc and play arpeggios through a vox or a good compressor and a clean amp then the Ricky. For strumming I love acoustic/electric 12 strings (I play my dad's tanglewood which is good for the money)

i can't remember how the knobs on the bass were set but it was plugged into a boss cs-3 compressor and a vox ac30 guitar amp with an sm57 mic
