@McBlobby3 - I "love" Slash/Joe Perry but GN'R had perfect timing. They came when rock was the biggest cliché around and stayed until the mid 90's when "real rock" went away. Bands still do albums and tour but it just isn't the same thing no more. Nirvana, Metallica and GN'R has been given a status in new generations older bands just catch match in popularity. Only a "few "people get the interest to look beyond and discover how great the older bands really were. It's the best thing I ever did!
