It was a W from TS to 5th Ave. The video was taken out the front of a slant, neither of the lines you mentioned have slants on them, or really any train with an accessible front window, except occasionally on the R.
this is a W train headed to Queens. The first station in the video is 49th Street, followed by 57th St - 7th Ave, followed by 5th Avenue. The brief glimpse of the door as the train enters 49th St shows it to be R-40 equipment
You just have to get on the lead car of a train with a half-cab. Most older ones have a half-cab such as the slants, but none of the newer cars have them. The B line has lots of slants on it, as well, the A and C have trains with half-cabs, as well as a few other lines.
Grand Central to 5th Ave. There was apparently an "incident" on the train previous to where we got on, thus the whole train was empty, I couldn't resist, the glass was "wide open."
