i only have one deck now as i sold the other one..... so i have a mixer and a deck do i need two turntables to mix using soft ware or can i just use the one?

@funwithfernando there are a few other types of timecode the program does have listed but im not to sure what they are anymore for the program has updated since this video and i stopped using deckadance about 2 years ago, im sorry i cant be of much help but hopefully ive answered to the amount needed. Ask if you need any more help.

Can someone please explain to me what "audio recording or timecode control' is? Because i have the vestax VCi-100 but it doesnt have a sound card. So i was about to buy the Audio 2 DJ sound card but it pretty much says "dont buy this if audio recroding and timecode control are necessary for you." Can someone please help me? Thanks

if u move the pitch does it move on the comp as well does it show the bpm changing too as you move the pitch on the turntable?

@xXSYCADELICXx the actual slider in the program might change in deckadance it will and yes it will effect the bpm of the track and truely i have no idea if the readouts in the program are accurate

@DOMINATERKID a timecode is in basic a long simple tone thats printed either on vinyl or cds and basically tells a program to output the music at a certain speed and what direction.

What Turntable are you using? Is it ok to use a very old turntable as long as it has RCA? Can I use other empty vinyls or Torq is much better?

@yvezproductions the turntables i was using in this video im not sure because i no longer have them but they were VERY old and you cant use empty vinyl because torq vinyl has a special tone on it to make this work hope this helped at least a little bit Thanks for your comment. :D

no for traktor you need either "audio 4" or "audio 8 DJ" sound interface to be able to use timecode

this depends on your gear

if you plan on using the mixer to directly control the program then the mixer but for timecode setup you will just need the interface plugged in

yes you can use the maya 44 with virtual dj for turntables but you can also use most other soundcards with 2 ins and 2 outs

i have the mixvibes dvs system that came with two cds and two vinyls will that work with the gigaport

sadly no because the Gigaport only has outputs so you wouldnt be able to run dvs through it because it has no inputs.

well the turntables i am using are VERY much not the best and they are old but they are belt drive which is most probably the cheapest option so go with belt drive if i were you but if you have a bit more then £100 then get some direct drive ones THX for the comment
