  • Nice... but the omission of a slotted headstock is making me grind my teeth as I watch this.

  • @Hoopermazing Hope you use a pic fo your teeth grinding! More seriously can you explain the reason for your irritation apart from aesthetics? I understood the tradition of slotted headstocks came fom nylon strung guitars and Selmers are steel strung but I could be wrong?

  • @Woodomain The reason is no more significant than my expecting to see the tapered and slotted SelMac headstock and finding it to be super chouette très élégant. The teeth grinding was more from angst than irritation by the way. Pay me no mind. Carry on with your envelope-pushing.

  • Well I don't know about that! Are you saying it prostitutes a guitar? I thought Django experts bent the trings but I am fascinated by a tremolo effect. I am currently trying to design a similar acoustic bridge with string adjustable saddles (as in electric guitars) as true pitch is the key problem with fixed bridge guitars. At least with the Selmer you can tap it one way or the other.

  • this one you made is to good to put a floyd rose tremolo on
