Adore Al for his wit AND wisdom. You know, I think the man is quite charismatic and certainly that's a requirement for a politician.
On one hand it's sad to lose a brilliant writer of social and political satire yet on the other hand (especially since reading, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them") his evolution from the one career to the other just makes much sense. I hope he IS elected and since I'm greedy, I also hope he'll continue to write. ^.^
