I know Chris very well, and I know the high notes he can hit. One of the most talented vocalists all time. Chester wont be able to hit his high notes but if you compare the 2 live, Chester sounds PERFECT live, every note he finishes sounds perfect, while I find Chris OK live. Chris was a great hardrock singer, lots of power, Chester though is a more allround singer, from screams to beautifully perfect soft singing, and a lot more.
