im so sad to see cadillac going down hill like this.. the class they compete in has some very stiff competition! the product gm is producing just doesnt match up. everything about the car just feels like its been touched by cost cutting. i havent had the chance to really throw one around on a track but from what i see from other reviewers these cars just dont handle like any kind of quality sports car like they claim it is.

I see the ZR1 as more off an American car with a hint of Euro DNA. In a post I read on forums, the brakes that the ZR1 use are from Ferrari.

I kind of agree with you and slightly dont. Not ALL american cars suck. Yes the ford sucks. I absolutely hate it with a passion. BUT the CTS-V is pretty nice you get every bang of the buck and its not even that expensive. The Chevy ZR1 sucks? I think not it holds the record at the Nurburgring. Infact JDM cars are more boring to drive theyre quality is getting lower and lower and VERY boring. On the other hand Euro's and Germans FTW.

It can be the drivers, but it may also be the factors of the car. Tire pressure, air pressure, and fuel load. I think they fill up the tank, and that added weight is what slows the car DRAMATICALLY!

All these cars I listed holds a simple N/A Inline4 engine, and it can pull better #s than this POS Cadillac.

And this Cadillac has a V6 304HP, with 273 lb-ft torque, and it can't get better #s than Inline4s made in Japan. This just shows how much American car sucks.

As I recall, the only sports sedan that beat the CTS-V(auto-shift) was the Porsche Panamera(correct me if I'm wrong).
