I have the Gemini GX 450's . One of them has a problem with the sound going "in and out" and then goes back to normal then distorts and then goes in and out again etc.. Do you know what might be causing this to happen?
@chapupeludo Hey whats up man sorry for late reply.. umm i had same problem with previous speakers it can be many things, if your problem happens when its low and comes back when you crank up the volume it maybe the inside plus and negative connecters may not be making contact just follow video and clean connectors with sand paper and vinegar to make shiny again it maybe dirty. hope that works...you have to trial and error...
hey man i have a pair of 1970s pioneer HPM-100s and wen they were given to me the tweeter of one and the mid on the other made no noise at all i changed the driver to c if it was the crossover it was fine wadda you think is wrong with the mid and tweet that no soud comes from it plz assist thanks
@g0pawnurxbox man thats a hard one have you tried to connect another external tweeter to check if the wires are being intercepted if the second tweeter or mid works than you ... thats what i would troubleshoot first...
next time you replace the tweeter or driver u can just use the back(where the heat plate and power button ect.. is ) ..if its a bi amp speaker instead of taking 16 screws out take the back out and unscrew the driver with your hands ...simple to take out And put in
@TeKEpainDeeJayDS it would be easy if the compartments would be connected, but the heat sink has its own compartment and you cannot reach in from the back at all cuz theres no openings...there was no vids on this specific model so i decided to make one and ended up braking my clips in the process.. lol, but hope people take my mistakes and learn from them
Hey man what kind of Driver is that. I am looking to remapir mine today and am just wondering what the model name of the driver is? Thank you
