  • green fire is like 620 degrees genreally if you see it stay away from it

  • unagreed for example the sun it is over 1000 degrees and why isnt it a coler like green?

  • Because the sun is 6,000 Degrees F,

the sun makes its own light, it doesnt reflect light from the plantes so...yeah...

  • I don't think green fire tells you it's super hot, aren't those kinds of fires instead based on what chemicals are burning?

  • cool =]

  • but... i didn't know why it is colored...

    how did they do that

  • Different elements burn different colors like he said in the video. Lithium=red, Sodium=orange, dunno the others.

  • it turns black

  • the teacher is a sheep shager lol

  • what did he put in there?

  • it is different salts that do this, not sure what theese ones are but Lithium salts make red, Potasium salts make peach, copper salts make green, and theres more i cant remeber

  • Damn, my science classes were never that cool!

  • lol in the background i hear some girl "Mr.Marks can i go to te bathroom" rofl cool vid

  • hey maddie17022, wre you in that class? if so, what were the chemicals used to make the different colors? i kno copper can make the flame green, but it looked like you had gas in each bowl, not solid stuff...

  • Ah no, actually he put in solids, not gas.

About the chemiclas used to make different colours, the teacher DID introduce us the names of them at the beginning of the video. Try listening again. (sorry, 'cuz I also can't remember all of them XD)

  • @Maddie17022 borox = green... mix it in with ethenol the purple was most likely potassium .
