Could someone please translate for me what he is saying about Rekha please? Especially near the end, something about her beauty? She seems so gracious and pure of heart. If they're going to be giving out titles like most beautiful woman in the world, Rekha is definitely more of a deserving candidate.

Khayyam said -- if Rekha were not in the film Umrao Jaan and if the songs were not sung by Rekha, the film would not have been what it is. He credited the success of the film to Rekha. Then, he also commented how Rekha is the perfect fit to the film in every respect.

@JawidSarbaz for the first time, i agree with someone commenting on youtube. you are 100% right on!!! kishore kumar is a forgotten name today. and this is the biggest shame. even when amitabh accepts awards, he thanks everyone except kishore. kishore was a legend. he forever will be the biggest entertainer bollywood has seen. we should make statues of him, we should have annual concerts of him. but, alas, we can only dream, you and i brother.
