I hear ya... but the reason I replied with venom and animosity is because I'm SICK of Consoletards and misc "newb" PC Gamers not using V-Sync when they can/should be using it.

This whole 360 and PS3 generation of kids don't know SHIT about getting the most out of their software AND about expecting the Dev/Pubs to produce software capable of "the best"

i.e. AA & V-Sync at a minimum

@hellstoast if no one gave u an awnser allready, v-sync syncs the frames displayed to your screens refresh-rate (hertz), so if you chose to play the game or have set the Hz in windows to 60Hz, the game will run with 60 fps, unless u've got a slow pc, it will run with 60fps or below but never higher.

if u've got a good pc and do not have v-sync set, the game might be acting strange and some effects might be shown with a higher fps, maby up to 200, which will look odd and perhaps will be anoying.

allso note that the cable between your pc and monitor has it's limits while talking about Hz, aswell as your monitors respondtime "ms" (the millisecons). so to say the gamers who shout they're awsome running games with over 100 fps... it's a total waste.
