Whoa! there's that one part (at 1:30) where the guy has to keep walking backward so the car on the conveyer belt doesn't run him over! There has to be a better way. I expected better from Volvo in terms of ergonomic factory conditions... fortunately it seems to be an isolated incident.
@manykarz I dont think he is actually walking a guy at 2:50 is in a similar situation and it looks like there's a moving track that he is standing on.
Geely said that they plan to allow Volvo to operate independanly as they are. I do know that Geely will be building a Volvo plant in China but I am not sure if the cars built there will be sold outside of China. I hope not for quality reasons.
@Runaholism Yes, only the Volvos sold on the Chinese market will be manufactured in China. For the rest of the world, the production of the cars will remain exactly the same.
@KoMDraegast But they are. But only planning so far, and not for export only the chinese market. But it will probably take a while before they get up and runnning

As far as they told me in training they are not planning on opening another volvo plant in asia any time soon.
