My interpretation of that one line is that when your a rockstar, someone famous, successful, ect, people flock to you.... To pick your brain, to hopefully try to leech some of the happiness or success that you emanate. I can relate to this from personal experience.
So metaphorically, hes comparing himself to the Papaver somniferum (opium poppy) and others will try to harvest the "milk" (found in the poppy), in this case a metaphor for his success, and "devour" it.

I am christian... I love manson. Listen to what he's saying. He's against the plastic covered effigy that religion has become. The idea of organized religion where people are told that they are free and then told exactly what to think. He is against indocrination and for individuality and self expression in a society where conformity is encouraged and uniqueness is ostracised. We aren't fit to judge each other. Be and let be.. latinabecca - very well put. that's probably the most intelligent comment i've ever seen on a manson vid. marilyn manson doesn't encourage bad things or say that religion is bad, he just describes things as he see's them. i think the reason he acts so "extreme" is just to ilustrate his point about the way society seems to think, and for his efforts he is demonised by the press and completely misunderstood. any interview i have seen of manson he seems like a very intellent guy.

No, it has been essentially proven that life has devloped via evolution. How could you possibly explain creation with evolution? Evolution is merely the process by which life has sustained itself and become more efficient at doing so. We have yet to prove any creationist theory. It is arguable that the Christian/Jewish creation idea is equally plausible to any other. I think it's unlikely though.

Well done for not understanding Manson's message. H is against organised religion and the choice not to have to worship if you do not beleive. He's not against Christians in general but the hypocrisy of some that preach the word, the fundamentalists, those that use chritianity to spread hatred towards others - good example being the Westboro Church.
He doesn't lead anyone against God, he just says people should have freedom of choice and of people then choose, its not down to him.

I know alot more and so know that Manson has never tried to turn people against religion as was mentioned but has sought to get people to be able to make a choice instead of blindly following because we are told to. Manson has never told anyone that they shouldn;t follow chrisitanity and that they should follow him in some kind of crusade against religon. That's what am arguing against.
