Why is it that certain songs i play on my NS6 sound either fast or slow? How do i fix that? I checked the tempo of the songs and the beat grind. Even reinstalled the software. Nothing has worked!!!
@Moenastyy That may be an unintended function of codec conversion. What music format are your "plays right" songs in? Are those formats different from your "plays wrong" songs? I'm not talking about if they're all mp3, either; you need to know the format version (the mp3 format has a few), format profile, format mode extension, writing library specs of the tracks, encoding settings, and how these compare between tracks that sound "wrong" and the ones that you know sound "right"
@Moenastyy Maybe they're all "mp3" but the mp3 format has several different formats within itself, as in differing format profiles and differing codecs in each file's library specs. What I'm saying is, analyze each file that plays "wrong" to see what about those mp3s are different from other mp3s. You need a piece of analysis software to do that, something like EncSpot.
@Moenastyy Basically, primer yourself on the mp3 format. It sounds like you don't know how mp3 sound encoding works. A DJ needs to know that stuff, otherwise you don't sound your best.
