Big pens fan, but it is very obvious this is CGI. The physics work, but it is very clear it's fake. The shadows from the puck are odd, the motion blur is obviously off, and the puck rolls at the end as if the blue boards are sticky and slowed it down. This is just as ridiculous as the 'Amazing guy cuts a 2x4 by throwing a saw'. It pains me to see them show this on FSN during a pens game.... ugh.
the only part thats fake is the last shot when it zooms in he shoots the last puck thats rolling then when the camera zooms out you can see two more pucks beside him ... i still think crosby has mad skills when it comes to still handeling and accuracy he is one of the best.
Closer inspection at 1080p does show it to in fact be a smudge. Please disregard my last statement as it is incorrect. I still don't know where the puck in question or the one beside it came from though. Only one puck went up in the air from the pyramid, yet those 2 pucks and the third that appears on the boards somehow get there.
I downloaded the video and checked it frame by frame and one puck definitely vanishes at the 435th frame (18:143 seconds) and reappears again in frame 437 (18:227 seconds). Given that the camera is not moving that quickly, there is no way it could be a scuff blocking the view for only 84 thousandths of a second.

Big pens fan, but it is very obvious this is CGI. The physics work, but it is very clear it's fake. The shadows from the puck are odd, the motion blur is obviously off, and the puck rolls at the end as if the blue boards are sticky and slowed it down. This is just as ridiculous as the 'Amazing guy cuts a 2x4 by throwing a saw'. It pains me to see them show this on FSN during a pens game.... ugh.

the only part thats fake is the last shot when it zooms in he shoots the last puck thats rolling then when the camera zooms out you can see two more pucks beside him ... i still think crosby has mad skills when it comes to still handeling and accuracy he is one of the best.

Closer inspection at 1080p does show it to in fact be a smudge. Please disregard my last statement as it is incorrect. I still don't know where the puck in question or the one beside it came from though. Only one puck went up in the air from the pyramid, yet those 2 pucks and the third that appears on the boards somehow get there.

I downloaded the video and checked it frame by frame and one puck definitely vanishes at the 435th frame (18:143 seconds) and reappears again in frame 437 (18:227 seconds). Given that the camera is not moving that quickly, there is no way it could be a scuff blocking the view for only 84 thousandths of a second.

Lots of magic pucks in that video. Two to his left when they zoom out after the last shot....also watch the pile of pucks that are left over after he destroys the pyramid...there's another magic puck that appears to the right of the rest of the pucks.

Look at the second puck that's next to Sid after the shot...between 0:16 and 0:18, it disappears and re-appears...Stare at it and you'll see. like it's not really there. Weird.

2. heres no puck beside the pile of pucks at 0:14. then look at the pile after shooting the rolling puck (around 0:15~0:16). a puck appeared on the right side of the pile...

dont get me wrong sidney crosbys awesome. but when hes shooting on the pile of pucks it shows that there is only on puck left right beside him, then it zooms in on the rolling puck, and zooms out again, theres two new pucks beside him. Also when it zooms in on the rolling puck then zooms out there is an extra puck beside whats left of the pile. So he actually does hit the rolling puck just not all in one take.

Faked.... Look at 0:14 there is 5 pucks left in the little stack on the boards, and ONE puck left for crosby (his last puck)... Now look at 0:17 there is TWO pucks infront of Crosby and magically a 6th puck appears beside the stack of 5 pucks. Given that one puck did "Fly" up after hitting the pyramid where did the other 2 come from. It is faked, just deal with it, Crosby is good, but he ain't Jesus.
