@skb1503 I spoke long distance on the phone to my daughter for 5 years until she was 10, and all the conversations were monitored by the mom she could even be heard in the background coaching her what to say.All calls were limited to 15 minutes per month. Could you imagine how i would have been treated if i actually spent all that money to fly to Europe and pay for a hotel in the small village in Switzerland where they lived? I would have regretted that all my life. It would've made it all worse

i was a daddy's girl till just 25days ago my dad passed away! he was diagnosed with cancer when i was 11 and he has fought hard to stay here with me! but he has taught me to keep trying and live life to the fullest and be fearless! to stay stong for his little girl was the hardest thing for him. when he passed away i was at my friends house and my mom called me my mom and dad are divorced she said that my Dad had passed away that night and i busted out into tears! i miss you dad! <3

@trittanylove111 My parents are divorced also and my dad isn't so fond of my mom but what you have to do is say look Mom it hurts when you put me in the middle of your problems with dad. That's your dad and she cannot change that. Do what you feel is right and you need to sit down and talk with both of your parents. Your still your Daddy's girl don't ever doubt that. Thank God for the father he gave me to..... He is one extraordinary man. I remember when he would put candy under my pillow(when I was asleep) when I was younger, comb my hair when my mother was getting the others ready. We use to (even still do it now) sit on the couch and watch kung fu movies... or ever when we use to go to the beach and he would pretend to be baptizing me and other sisters.... my father abused me, hit me, smacked me, picked me up by the throat, and much worse. he was and still is a crazy man. i was on my way to a concert when he was stalking us on the highway and tried to knock us off it 2 years ago. i haven't talked to him since. he still tries to contact me and acts as if everything is ok. it hurts to know he does this stuff to not just me... but the rest of my family. i can never forgive my father. and i know ill never have a true father-daughter relationship </3
@hugejgfan96 My dad is an alcoholic and growing up I remember some very scary times. There were many days that I wondered if I would ever see peaceful days. That was nearly 25 years ago...my dad is still a drunk and I dont talk to him much, but this I can tell you, Daddy's get older and lonely longing for the days where they wish they could live life over again. In time, you will see this too and I hope that you will be able to forgive your dad, for your own sake. Hang in there!

My parents are also divorced but I love my dad more then anything in the world. He's always there for me when I need him, he was there when I got scared, he was there when I started school and he was there when I started school. We may get into fights but I feel bad. I don't like to fight with him. I always feel very bad but deep down he loves me. But no matter how old I am, I will always be his little girl.

@trittanylove111 My parents are divorced also and my dad isn't so fond of my mom but what you have to do is say look Mom it hurts when you put me in the middle of your problems with dad. That's your dad and she cannot change that. Do what you feel is right and you need to sit down and talk with both of your parents. Your still your Daddy's girl don't ever doubt that. He loves you no matter what your mom forces you to do. God bless and i hope you get better

Thank God for the father he gave me to..... He is one extraordinary man. I remember when he would put candy under my pillow(when I was asleep) when I was younger, comb my hair when my mother was getting the others ready. We use to (even still do it now) sit on the couch and watch kung fu movies... or ever when we use to go to the beach and he would pretend to be baptizing me and other sisters.... My parents are still together. My father is the world's best Daddy.....

my father abused me, hit me, smacked me, picked me up by the throat, and much worse. he was and still is a crazy man. i was on my way to a concert when he was stalking us on the highway and tried to knock us off it 2 years ago. i haven't talked to him since. he still tries to contact me and acts as if everything is ok. it hurts to know he does this stuff to not just me... but the rest of my family. i can never forgive my father. and i know ill never have a true father-daughter relationship </3

@hugejgfan96 My dad is an alcoholic and growing up I remember some very scary times. There were many days that I wondered if I would ever see peaceful days. That was nearly 25 years ago...my dad is still a drunk and I dont talk to him much, but this I can tell you, Daddy's get older and lonely longing for the days where they wish they could live life over again. In time, you will see this too and I hope that you will be able to forgive your dad, for your own sake. Hang in there!

For all the people out there that say they hate their parents you dont know what its like to live life everyday without a dad or a mom! My dad died when i was 4, im 14 now and i still cry everyday! His mom, my nanny raised me for ten years and she died of cancer 2 months ago, i used to get so mad at her because she wouldnt let me do what i wanted but now i wish she was still here to boss me around. My nanny spoiled me so much, not because she had the money. but bc she knew i hurt for my daddy!
