Respect is earned.The officer sure is a mean hearted, cold evil bastard for doing his job. She was treated no worse than many other criminals are in the US. They handcuff people, pregnant or not, to their beds in hospitals all the time. Let her keep the 200k $, but subtract the hospital bill from it. Especially since she is a repeated illegal immigrant and law breaker. Then deport the baby factory back to Mexico and see how long she can keep both the money and her head.

Her pregnancy is not an excuse for not arresting her, while the original reason of her arrest might be in question. She was allowed to go to the hospital and deliver, yet another anchor baby to deal with.

In my experience dealing with people who try to demonize police officers based on isolated incidents (rather justified or not) is infuriating. That's because I have absolutely NO DOUBT that you would call 9-1-1 and hope that one of those "ass sucking police" get there to save your skin as soon at humanly possible.
