Todd Bodine ARCA Crash in Nashville

I remember the old Petro Express cars. The reason this looks like Derrike's car is the connection with Dan Shaver. Dan owned the ARCA car in the video and had a plan to buy into/sponsor the Jay Robinson (Cope) team but it never materialized beyond the Richmond race Derrike wrecked in. Dan was a great supporter of racing and sadly passed away just a few years ago. Jeff Buice bought some of his equiptment and races ARCA from time to time.

I saw Todd Bodine at his hotel the morning after this crash. He said, "You just saw my first and last ARCA race." He was very peved at Randall Ritter's driving.

The car that Bodine tangled with was one of Robby Gordon's old RCR cup cars.

this wreck happened right in front of me. It was VERY loud when he hit. It was scary.
