  • If A&M fans truly thinks that the SEC wanted them because they're a "bigger" football school or powerhouse compared to Texas or because of their 'pride', then you are delusional. I have A&M friends who believe really believe that nonsense.

  • Maybe because we think like normal people A&M

  • that was a thing of BEAUTY!

  • hahaha soooo weak. We may have lost, but tu's fight song certainly "sounds like hell."

  • @greengreen2700

That isn't the "fight song". Its the school song. I'm sure you heard the "fight" song plenty of times during the game tho. GOODBYE TO A&M!

  • @SALonghorn

Your dispute is semantic and therefore irrelevant to the terrible quality with which it was sung. Yeah, I think maybe they played it after that bad call. GOODBYE TO tu. We'll see you in two years, when you come crawling back for the money.

  • @greengreen2700 Haha still bitter! Bad call waaah waaaah. Texas beat you in your house with a rebuilding team full of freshman and y'all were supposed to be top ten material this year. You should be glad Texas doesnt play your sorry Aggies next year cos it would be ugly.

  • @greengreen2700

A&M is so disfunctional, it's really sad. Just look at how they dismissed Sherman. Money? Isn't that why A&M is leaving for the SEC? Texas makes the most (repeat...the most) money in the country. And it has little to do with A&M. We'll gladly play A&M as long as the game is now exclusive to the Longhorn Network. HAHA

A&M wants to play Texas so they can have at least one road game still be in the state of Texas! Haha good riddance!

  • @SALonghorn

I don't agree with the Sherman incident, but A&M is moving to the SEC for greater opportunities. We'll be able to recruit better and eventually we should have a stronger team. tu makes so much money because they have a massive sheep-like fan base of unoriginal Walmart shirt wearing high school dropouts. tu will have another bad season the dropouts will lose interest (because they're not real fans) and they'll can the network.

  • @greengreen2700

Sherman expected better from A&M. Sadly, he is the ONLY one as that is how disfunctional A&M is. The donors/regents run the atheltic program, and then you guys wonder why the program sucks. Walmart fans? Copying Cowherd now? Cowherd also said that A&M went being insignificant in the Big XII to being even more insignificant in the SEC. Congratulations!

  • @SALonghorn Just think about it: why would he be fired if he was the only one that expected better... I not familiar with Cowherd, and I don't need someone from ESPN to realize something so obvious. If we were insignificant in the Big XII, we wouldn't have made it to the SEC.

  • @greengreen2700 recruit better? You have to be a good team to recruit better, and a team that blew 4 double digit leads at halftime such as A&M isnt a good team. And will probably be last place in their division if not the entire SEC conference next year. GOODBYE TO A&M!

  • @greengreen2700 Walmart shirt wearing high school dropouts...you clearly aren't familiar with A&M's immense popularity among t-shirt fans in the 1990s.

  • @patient451 This isn't the 1990s and no, I'm not familiar with that. All of you guys want to argue, but none of you has a valid point.

  • @greengreen2700 Point being that every school has its run of crazed t-shirt fans, A&M's just came to a halt when Texas took over as the premier state powerhouse in the early 2000s. Earlier you said Texas will crawl back to A&M for the money - seriously, is that supposed to be a valid point? The UT football program makes over twice what A&M's does annually, and that's before you consider the $300 million ESPN is paying UT. A&M wants to get out of Texas' shadow - that's why they left - and they

  • @greengreen2700 foolishly think the SEC recruited them specifically because they knew A&M would compete. False. The SEC is looking for an improved TV deal with FOX to make more money for the conference, and a 14th member will likely do just that. Furthermore, the SEC wants Texas recruits, and they knew they weren't going to lure Texas away from its blockbuster deal with ESPN. Tech isn't academically or athletically sound enough, so that left A&M as the only reasonable fit. Aggies are kidding

  • @greengreen2700 themselves if they think the SEC picked them because they're a strong football contender. Seriously? A team that had all the talent to make a BCS bowl pulled a 2010-Texas and went 6-6, 4 of the losses coming after holding huge first half leads - INCLUDING against the one team they set out to beat, at home. A&M hasn't been relevant in the Big 12 in years - the conference has belonged to OU and occasionally Texas, and A&M's ego is too damaged to handle it anymore. A&M wants more

  • @greengreen2700 money, which they'll get from the SEC's equal share money pool, and they'll take a few seasons of getting donkey stomped all while maintaining that this was the best decision they ever made. This is about money and it's about pride, both of which Texas has a hell of a lot more of - which is why you don't see anyone in Austin losing sleep over the Aggies throwing a tantrum on their way out the door. The response to this final game just proves the Aggies can't let anything go.

  • @patient451 tu's fanbase is almost entirely tshirt fans, while A&M's isn't. that's why they make more money. A&M left for better opportunities, certainly more so than to get out of tus shadow. Oh wait!? You're from the SEC? Oh, you're not? So your arguments are based on... nothing? Clearly the SEC wanted us for a reason. Bottom line. Hell of a lot more... pride? You have few REAL fans. You haven't been to College Station have you? I grew up in Austin so don't bs me. next.

  • @greengreen2700 Sigh...delusions of grandeur. It's financial fact that the SEC wanted to land a more lucrative deal with FOX and expansion makes perfect sense to do it. Texas was an early choice but there was no way they'd leave the Big 12. Tech was never going to happen. I'm a senior at UT, so no I'm not "from the SEC" - but it doesn't take someone with a business degree to know that college football is about money first and everything else second. The SEC wanted two new schools - A&M came

  • @greengreen2700 running at the chance. There's a profound difference in fanbase and "pride" - I said Texas has more pride, as in the school itself has too much control in its own financial interests and assets to engage in the kind of conference realignment activity A&M's toiling in. I didn't think I'd be explaining the concept of pride today. And I'm sorry, but if you're looking so adamantly for a solid argument, why do you insist on this age-old Aggie fallback plan of claiming UT is mostly

  • @greengreen2700 t-shirt fans? Do you have numbers to support this? Was a census done? Or is this the product of Aggie lore, which permeates the arguments between schools, and is really just a reversal of a decade old trend in which A&M's profitability was buoyed by merchandising? That's a rhetorical question, by the way, don't answer it. (Must I explain rhetorical questions now, as well? Or do you have that concept grasped? These are also rhetorical questions, so I hope you do.) The sheer irony

  • @greengreen2700 of the content of your "argument" astounds me. Real arguments rely on a lot more than things like "tu has more tshirt fans than A&M". I've been to college station countless times, I have family there, a good number of my cousins are A&M alumni. I know what the environment is. Your fact-less condescension is nothing short of amusing. Bring more than Aggie rhetoric to the discussion if you want it to be "valid", as you put it. Also, look at SEC motivations for expansion, and

  • @patient451 Where are your facts? I don't need 2000 characters and some colorful words to prove that you're full of it. I never said it wasn't about money. Why don't you look pride and rhetorical question up; you're actually misusing both. If you can't see that the vast majority of tu fans don't go / haven't gone there, then you're not worth my time. You can't maintain a steady position, you're unclear, tactless, and your only points are unfounded. Don't bother to reply, I'm not interested.

  • @greengreen2700 discover the wonderful world of capitalism. But when you do, and you finally rid your head of contradictory standards of debate, keep it to yourself. I genuinely would like to not discuss this further.

  • @greengreen2700

the butthurt is strong with this one

  • Even seconds after a loss you can still here the A&M fans chanting

  • THIS was HUGE!!!

GREAT vantage point for the EYES! love it LOUD!!!

    Hook'em HORNS!!!
