It was inspirational to hear Wyzard talk about all this stuff; however, with all respect, I found it a little annoying that Wyzard got cut off, when he was about to talk about something really interesting about us young producers and engineers being plug-in driven, and I disagree with John Paul Jones overplaying, he fills the gap perfectly and knows when to hold back. Love the show! :)
I quit watching Pensado's Place...I could not stand how he kept interrupting folks in mid sentence with another question before they finished their answer, or with stupid crap. For all the useful information you could cut out 50min of the show and not miss a thing..
It's a shame really, it could have been a great show to learn from!

ok, wyzard is a great guy and a great player. But i think you should focus on mixing and engineering. I if want to learn about black rock bands history there are probably better places to go, but i want to learn about mixing/engineering, Pensado's place is the BEST !( By the way, with all due respect,Mother's Finest would never play for 60000 people in Europe).

when I watched this show immediately I had to think of Forrester Savell. His work on Karnivool - Sound Awake is simply amazing (Lowend/Bass/overall sound!!!). Maybe you can get this guy on the show? seriously, this would be amazing.

Wow!!! This guy (Wyzard) has soooooooo much energy and it felt like he was being stopped too much. I saw his frustrations trying to come out but he's just so humble man. Amazing! I get it though, it was the time they was worried about. He wanted to let out a lot of information and could of went on for hours. this was dope but my energy wanted to follow his (Wyzard) but they kept killing it. I felt like I was on a crazy roller-coaster. My head hurts. Great show! : )
This is why this show is great! If it were all mixing, it would lose musicians. If all musicians, it would miss core audience. If all industry, no creativity. Perfect balance. While we may not have learned as much technically, as a musician I learned practically. Wyz properly understood ramifications of bass done right and wrong. And Dave's bassists are frustrated guitar players was spot on! Me and my bro used to play together so this was cool. Best show on the web guys!
@PJSGBC Pretty sure the show started off with Mixing and engineering in general as the main focus, ofcourse it's all integrated with each other but IMO, the focus should still be mixing.
I agree with Frankie, no ITL agaaaain? Don't mean to sound ungrateful but it is the meat of the show! lol It's not like there's no more subjects to discuss, there are loads! EQ and Reverb haven't been discussed and I don't just mean showing us the different options, I mean techniques.
I've said this on all your videos but thank you so much for being a real human being, Dave. It's nice to know someone so successful can be so down to earth. I'm a fan for life. And I never heard of Wyzard until now but DAMN he's good! My brother plays bass so I'll pass this along.
