In India you can be born a slave for life and this can be justified but some random notion of karma and reincarnation chaining people into all kinds of intolerable abuse for life if they are born into lower casts. Hinduism is the justification of massive cult mind control over entire sections of India, it robs the masses of liberty! There may be similarities in their voting system but India uses religion to justify abuse of freedom on all levels.

2 wonderful exposAYs of mixed eastern and western thought. One point I've realised recently is the unexceptable nature of Hindu culture. Those mixed up quotes we get on tv that hail India as the largest democracy in the world, what a joke!
