@Matt88Sull Your talking out your ass, Rogers is no Geddy Lee he has his own style of playing, almost Paul Mcartney like. Hits the runs perfect, especially when they played more bluesy shit. He is a songwriter and can play many instruments and is a great bassist, I agree with the statement below and your no critic....
This is an historical perfomance I agree but I was expecting more from it. I prefer very much the album version. I own the 2003 remastered CD and I like it so much since I first listened to it. But in this version Nick's bass drum kick is unnecessary and the solos from David are far away from what I hear on the album. they seem unenchanted, without feeling and even out of tune. The only thing that's ok to me is Rogers performance, his voice and acoustic guitar playing are flawless.
Is there any video about this BBC session, for me is awesome, Yes..... I remember there is a video about it, poit me at the LINK. This is the only live performance of IF by Pink Folyd..... (because David and Roger for their own way sing live) thank you John Peel

@Matt88Sull in my humble opnion roger waters, espescially from 69' - 78', was one of the most inspiring bass players ever to pick up the instrument

I have never heard John Peel as pissed off as that. Never mind John, only 6 more years before Punk blows this away.
