@NoNoBackdoorJP Looking at the shape of the headstock, it looks like a Heritage. Jamie has this arrangement in a book - I have it somewhere. If you aren't really advanced forget about trying to play it.
Jamie has an arrangement of Danny Boy on acoustic guitar magazine from few years ago. Amazing, but I haven't heard it played. I would like to listen that version.
What a thrill to see and hear my dear old pals sounding so great and inspiring the kids. Both Dave and Jamie were always a thrill to play, discuss and learn about music with-great, great stuff!
I think the percussion takes away from what is an otherwise stunning performance. Jamie's playing has some beautiful subtleties that aren't allowed to stand out here as much as they should. The percussion is very cool and well played, I just prefer Jamie's work stand-alone.
What makes this performance unique is that they decided to try something different and avant garde. The genius behind this performance is the blend of contrasting styles (as quoted in the side notes, a blend of Coltrane and the Buena Vista Social Club of Cuba). I accept that it is not for everyone, but this is what Dr. Kopplin is all about. The shows are always tinged with innovation and imagination as well as traditional fare. Thanks for watching. I appreciate you comment.
that wood box has nothing to do with that music.

Jamie uses Custom Kevin Ryan & Heritage guitars. BUT, always remember, it is the Artist and not the Brushes that makes the painting.

YES IT IS!
There ain't no sheet music in front of them, it's ON THE FLY!
If you can't be as good as them (most of us can't) then come to the Shows (which are still dirt cheap - even if it is in the OC).
