Dont get me wrong halo is my favourite fps by FAR but it looks like the general market is moving to more 'realistic games' like Battlefield and COD. personally i think this is bullshit because if i want realism, i go outside. I play games to discover and enjoy a fantasy world which is why i love halo and The Elder's Scrolls so much :)

The thing that makes Halo better than CoD or Battlefield in my mind is that the Halo story is on a  GALACTIC scale while CoD and Battlefield is only restricted to Earth (and the general area around earth).

But this allows for more creativity and freedom in the Halo Universe, if you have not noticed there is a lot more fan art, music, shows, animations, and other things for Halo than there are for CoD or Battlefield.
