ok, this is it, i just talked to my friend again today and she said that she just talked to the manager again today and the manager of Universal Orlando Resort, who is also overseeing the rockit said that they plan to open the ride tomorrow on Sunday, August 16th, 2009 as long as things continue to go perfect!!! My friend also told me that the enployies got to actually ride the rockit today. This proves that that ride has to open tomorrow on the 16th!!!!!

ok, i have a friend who knows THE manager of Universal Orlando Resort, who is also overseeing the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and my friend just talked to him today and he, the manager, said that everything is going great for that Rockit, and that if things continue to go well then the ride will be opening on Sunday, August 16, 2009!!!!!! I promice you I am NOT making this up, and that means that for now, the official opening date for the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is August 16, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you know? Sources? That is the day I arrive in Orlando for my annual theme park vacation. I leave the 28th so they have a week to release it or someone gets hurt haha.

Well, the good news is they've got the song samples up on the official site now. So, you can go there and see/hear what songs we'll have to choose from. :-)

There is so many rumors going around. There was a rumor that is was supposed to have a full opening for the 4th of July, but sadly that didn't pan out. There is still tons of testing that needs completed, so this question I think no one has an answer to. My fiance Alex asked one of the engineers running the track controls from across the fence, when's the opening date? He replied, "No clue, even we don't know when!" So take that with a grain of salt.

My fiance's camera battery died out from all the picture taking. Just as the car toppd the peak, the battery died. :( :( but we are going back VERY soon, like within the next day or so to get more footage.
