Holy shit this is awesome. I ran on this track as a guest in the Northern Irish track and field championships when i was in secondary school. Made it to the final of the 800 :) really cool track to run on really sheltered.
It was not Jeff Atkinson who had to fix his shoe at the beginning. It was Jeff "Rat" Atkinson who was in 2nd with one lap to go. I'm a big fan of Zola Budd Pieterse and would like to see the 3000 m race she won at that meeting, if you can post it please.
