Although a minority, she lived a charmed life of moderate privilege, was born beautiful and had early musical success with her group. She had it all and found the Lord. She still sings her secular material but she largely abandoned the worldly to find deeper meaning in her life. Nearly all women entertainers of her generation try to hang on to the spotlight as long as possible and yet she hasn't even had a facelift.

I purchased and read the book that is mentioned in this video. In it, Marilyn states that she received an operation while she was still with the group. I am assuming that it was a hysterectomy because she was unable to bear children afterwards. She has a stepson and a granddaughter though her marriage to Billy. Her inability to bear children of her own hurt her deeply, however.
