thanks for sharing..but i don't know. what you eat having any significant effect on the skin, i think is a myth. the most obese people i noticed, who eat tons of junk food have really good skin. I lost over 20 pounds from healthy diet and i am what you call a very healthy weight (well size 1, so too thin). while everyone compliments my bod, face is thinnner and skin is much less luminous. When I ate fast food, my skin was actually brighter.

YES!! ANY retinol is shedding layers off of the epidermis, so a HIGH BROAD SPECTRUM UVA/UVB SPF is imperative! Please use one higher than 15!

why did you change your routin ...i was really looking fawrwared to useing the cetaphil and retin-a and i've never seen those products around here...and can you tell me what kind og spf you use...i have oily skin too

I changed my routine because since I moved over seas, buying proactiv wasn´t convienet for me anymore. My make-up has SPF or Olay moisturizer with SPF.

@mackintooshable I just watched a video by dermTv and the doctor said don't use the 2 at the same time, so I would say use the BP at night and the retin A in the night. I am thinking of getting retin A along with my obagi (benzoyl peroxide acne treatment), but am scared with all the stuff I've heard about with retin A. What percentage of retin A do you use and do you use cream or gel?

Liz , i don't think you're supposed to use a moisterizer before the retin-a. You're supposed to wash your face and wait 20 minutes and then apply the retin-a

Hi Liz.... thank you for sharing your routine with us. One more thing on the retinol - it is really important to wear an SPF during the day. Do you wear SPF in your makeup? Even with pm retinol application, it is important to wear SPF during the day. Your doctor should have told you that too. Hope this helps. Thanks!

This is such an intelligent thing to do (not necessarily a high price corresponds to good quality, most of the times it's just a matter or image and advertising). I understand! Some removers don´t remove enough and then some don´t have a good consistency. I really like the Ponds Cold Cream b/c it´s great at removing make-up & it moisturizes. Let me know if you try it.

i was my face every 6 days a week i do all the facial steps n 1 day i try to stay away from all chemicals to my face cuz sometimes the skin needs to breath atleast mine cuz it isnt so bad so i just do a reg face wash on the 7th day with out using anything else it keeps my skin good. thanks for ur tips.

yeey it works! btw i have a question, i know that what u eat reflects to ur skin, one more reason for me to eat super healthy. Yet, I have a friend that ALWAYS eats fast food, chips, smokes and NEVER drinks water only soft drinks, however her skin IS GORGEOUS! it always glows and never breakouts. On top of all, she never washes her makeup before bed. could it be genetics?

These people make me so jealous! LOL! In the best way possible, of course. Yes, it´s definitely genetics. People like this might have ¨perfect¨ looking skin now but as they age it will show that they have not taken care of themselves or their skin. Healthy, glowing skin is something I have to work at, as well as most people. Keep up your hard work, it WILL pay off! (:
