She did make it in the UK, her album 'Playing My Game' got to No 18 in the charts and she was on the scene for about a year and a half following its release. I agree she could of perhaps had slightly more of an impact on our chart but she did have quite a following and a year and a half is pretty normal now-a-days for any popstar / singer song writer. She is very talented though. Unforgivable sinner is my favorite song.

It's a simple fact true well crafted music is more difficult to bring to the masses as unfortunately the masses are only interested in easily digestible fad music. At the end of the day the question is: do you want to be a celebrity or do you want to be a true artist?

Lene has a great voice, her music is great. Oh, and she's incredibly cute :)

I agree with girlintheairport. A lot of 'musicians' who get in the charts nowadays would fall over themselves trying to write songs on guitar and sing like Lene can, and that's because Lene is, at the end of the day, more talented.

Her music should be in the charts outside of Norway and Italy, but in order to chart anywhere in the UK she's gonna have to distort herself into a camera plaything, which I don't think is worth her selling her integrity for.

She could be a "unknown" Sophie Zelmani or she could be a "famous" Jewel. It will be intresting to see what will happen.

I'm quite proud of her. In a time where this type of music has taken a bit of a stumble, her music stays fresh and really natural. Great to listen to and I really do find her voice unique.
