@MrMaaris On SX120 I can only turn it off by sticking a plug in the AV-Out. I've tried modifying the scripts but for some reason the display always comes back on even if I put the set_backlight 0 command inside a loop.
The smallest card I have is 4GB. It wouldn't format to FAT with Cardtricks but it was made bootable. I followed the instructions in the page below and when I switched the camera on and got the CHDK splash screen which then disappeared. I must be almost there...
Where is the CHDK menu? especially the time lapse.
Thank you! I'm not a master yet. :) I'm trying to find my right way in timelapsing. My experience in this is only 2 months. :) Try Sony Vegas or/and AfterEffects for editing. These programs are more powerful than moviemaker I think. :)
Hi! Go to File>Import>Media, choose folder, then select first image and check ''Open still image sequence'', hit ''Open''. In next window select framerate. Then from project media window drag your sequence to timeline. That's it!.

Very nice, like the boot moving in the water, nice colours at the end.

Many thanks again.
I now managed to run CHDK on my camera. The only issue left is that I cannot see time lapse option there....

@amilev01 You need to put intervalometer script to your SD. It is here: chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts%3A_Ultra_Intervalometer

Hi @MrMaaris
Many thanks. It works!!!
I found VirtualDub to turn this into .AVI but perhaps Sony Vegas could do it better.
Again, thanks for your help.

@amilev01 Always welcome. I'm waiting for your timelapses now :)

@MrMaaris Does the intervalometer turn off the display so the power is conserved?

@clerlic No, it doesn't. You can turn off display by yourself.

@clerlic Can't help you. I got SX1. Seems there is no way to turn display off, if your camera don't have viewfinder.

@MrMaaris Well, thanks for trying anyway!

Hi,
I love your time lapse clip. I tried to install CHDK on my SX1is but I cannot get the "Firm Update" on the Display menu. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance...

You are a SX1 IS CHDK Time Lapse master ! *on knees*
Which program do you use to make your time lapse ? I use Windows movie maker but it can't make panning effect like you do :(

Hi :)
I installed vegas but now i have a little problem. I can load images but i didn't found how to change the showing time to make the time lapse.
For example when i load the pics, they are during 5 sec.
How to make them during 0,3 sec for example ? Or maybe you make the time lapse with another program and you make the panning zoom in vegas ?
Thanks for your help ;)
