I wonder if he's using his on Omega guitar stand? can't find them online, only see Embrace, & gracies, plus i think gracies went out of biz. i came up with my own design, just don't have the funds to market it. kinda helps to be a rock legend like alex to do that sort of thing.

One of the most COMPELLING parts of these lessons comes in the interview beforehand. Alex is mentioning that he's been in the same band his whole life, and when he says it he looks down to the ground in humility and in a polite soft spoken voice says "uhhh...RUSH." You really have to see it to get what I'm saying. Here's a guy, a LEGEND among his peers, who has as much if not more justification to be a cocky arrogant SOB like many other players and he is as humble as they come. We love him!

@GreenDayWorryrock He is using a PRS CE 24. PRS discontinued this model a few years back. They were a budget version of PRS's Custom 24. Not to be confused with PRS's import line known as SE, the PRS CE was made in the American factory, had all the same stuff as the more expensive Custom 24, but had a bolt on neck as opposed to set neck. You can get the same guitar on the used market for between $850-$1,400 depending on condition and finish.

watched 'RUSH: Beyond the lighted Stage' movie and you have to see this if you've not already...it's wonderful. Each member of RUSH is SOOOOOO good, and as a whole it's hard to concentrate on what each one of them is doing individually, and you're right Alex seems often underrated...but he is really phenominal....

Exactly the way I do it in my example. I'm glad to see that Alex has confirmed at least that part of my own performance and example (i.e. riding the B note on the G string) since that tiny aspect (or lack thereof) is what I've perceived as one of the biggest no-nos made by other guitarists in their own performances of the song I've seen here on youtube and out at gigs. Thanks for posting!
