yeah, I agree with the modern thing-namely their hair, I mean, where would they find a curling iron to do haylie duff's hair that way? But, it's true, this is no BBC period drama
@waterlily423 There where curling irons at that time. The iron was usually heated on top of a wood burning stove such as the kitchen stove. There is a good scene in the movie Little Women where they got the curling iron too hot and burned off some of one of the girl's hair.
To the people commenting on the language being too odern - really, it wasn't so long ago in our history that the language would have been so different. Read dialogue from the literature written back then. Yes, people actually spoke that way. It wasn't the middle ages, peoples
@kerowind i know right. Also the female doctor Belinda won't have a southern or western drawl or accent because she's from the North, considering she had such an education and liberties most women are surprised at in those times whereas in the North it was rare but not uncommon, Most of the other characters besides her and her friend seem to have some accents but other than that it may seem Modern only because this is America not a BBC epic drama classic
how do I change the color on my monitor. this movie is too dark.

who has a wig on?
aligatorjs 2 years ago
Obvious wig she's got going on. Not sure why since it seems they use her real hair in other scenes.
