i went over each color wile the under color was still wet then i let dry. then aded yellow high lite

That lavaboard is awesome!
On the other boards, you should spend a little bit more time on smoothing out the layers of styrene so they are not as visible as they are now.

Nice Iron Snakes! I read the book on them by Dan Abnett and it is by far my favorite 40k novel. It's awesome to finally see someone paint these and I'm planning on starting an Iron snake army if I don't start a space wolf or Salamander army. Really awesome job on the shoulder pads too, I bet they were a pain in the ass to paint O.o
