Hey everybody! I have released my new album 'Progenitor' which is electronic music with songs inspired by great bands such as The Prodigy. You can check it out and download it for free on my youtube channel if you're interested!
Let’s jet out, we’ll cruise at hyperspeed I got the beat, I got the beat And that’s all we need – check it out! Hyper, hyp-, hyper, hyper Hyper, hyp-, hyper, hyper Hyper, hyp-, hyper, hyper Hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyper, hyper, hyper, hyper Hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyper, hyper, hyper Hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyper, hyper, hyper Hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyp-, hyper, hyper, hyper Let’s jet out, we’ll cruise at hyperspeed I got the beat, I got the beat And that’s all we need
this song.. while rolling.. is indescribable.. the pure, raw energy in this song is just fucking amazing, i once played back this song 5 times straight when rollin with some friends, danced damn near the whole time i wasnt turning it back on. to the older generation: some of us youngins still rave to the good shit, like this!! i want old prodigy at raves :(
i thank god that i have a lot of older brothers and they forced this kind of sound onto me, if it wasnt for them i prolly would never know prodigy or queen or david bowie, i know i'm talkin about VERY different kinds of music, but they have 1 thing in common, they r all brilliant
From 1:12 it really sounds awesome. This music was an essential part of the progress my musical taste made in those years. Nowadays I mostly listen to progrock and jazzrock and many 70's stuff, but I still love this, though..
The boyfriend of a friends sister was a british soldier here in Germany in 1992 and I was 12 years young. This album was played, when we visited him. From that moment on, I was infected by this incredible sound. The next two albums were great too. :-)
@zomggitstom Fat Of The Land was good but you really want to get your hands on this album mate, The Prodigy Experience Expanded Remixes and B sides. It can be a bit pricey to get but trust me mate, as a huge fan of the old school and the 90's this is the bomb.
@TFToxixity i was 5 and every day i here the prodigy i just go crazy plus my pals thinks its rubbish but come on u cant beat the prodigy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@cozwizza Innit mate ! I was 13 when I bought this CD back in 1996 ! Don't know about breakbeat, but this sure was original intense electronic beat music, far superior to their lame 'firestarterish' latter attempts ; shame they sold out !
Remember getting this Album and flicking through it thinking this is not that good an Album then while reading a book and listening to it all the way through it now has become my most played album of all time
@PyroCurious A trip to trumpton was a cheesed up version of i feel the heat- not sure i'd class it as hardcore though I know alot of hard core DJs played it. Smart Es - yeah that was terrible.
not that the new prodigy isn't good, cuz it is. but the old prodigy, especially experience, is some of the best jungle/d&b/tech/u name it. 18 years later, and it still holds up.
@rocketmunkey1 THANK YOU SO MUCH. I knew this was a sample and I've been on the look out for this information since the 90's! The search is over, thanks mate!
@0TobyElliotNewt0 No worries mate I was just showing off my knowledge ;D lol glad it actually proved useful to someone, I only know that titbit of info because I had Electro 1 on vinyl when I was kid back in the 80's and captain rock the last song on side A if I remember correctly, To my amazement Captain rock_return of captain rock is on iTunes its also somewhere on youtube. glad the info helped :)
I'm 15 and I think this generation's music is BOLLOCKS. People just presume that all young people listen to nothing but the commercial shit but I love the prodigy and experience is my favourite album, would love to be old enough to have been around in the early nineties.
different people like different eras. Experience is more of a happy rave sound. Jilted Generation is a dark rave sound. Fat of the land is.. a kinda punky, experimental.. fuck i dont know what to call it
couldn't agree more. i honestly don't really like dance music or techno a whole lot, but damn i love this fucking album and all the great singles and b-sides from it.
it probably is faster but alot of that depends on instruments...alot of shuffles and percs etc etc will make a track sound faster, even if bpm wise, it isnt

Just one major similarity:
It's an omen
and

are rhythymed slightly alike. If that's a billion to you, then so be it.
