  • I think that this is being based on their standard move in muay thai

  • Karate and kung fu versions of a spinning backfist are way better. But at the same time the thai knee strike versions are way better than karate or kung fu

  • to all the idiots thinking they know muay thai these guys are from THAILAND this sport is their way of life

  • My Muay Thai teacher said that it's harder than it meets the eyes. According to him, the strike must be accurate. Hit your opponent with your arm instead of the back of the fist and you could break your arm.

  • Do people commenting on this know that these spinning techniques rely on momentum for them to work? And as he's demonstrating it on a person he's not doing it at full speed so he isn't able to execute it the same as if he was to do it properly

  • i can guarantee none of you. would go to thailand and talk that shit. how dumb can u b. sayin that an actual thai fighter doesnt know what hes doing..

  • @wrecksquad09 You're assuming that everyone of thai descent who practices muay thai is a professional & has flawless form just because they are thai...That's even dumber. Every American boxer does not know what he's doing just because boxing is an American sport.

  • @sleestakattack 1. your sadly mistaken, i never assumed anything if thas i felt i would have jus said it.

    2. if you would've read my comment thoroughly you have noticed that i said ACTUAL MUAY THAI FIGHTER. meaning a thai fighter of thai descent who has studied this beautiful style of martial art for more then 7yrs or 10 yrs. 3. i would never make such an assumption being an actual muay thai fighter myself and training under one of the greatest muay thai teachers in all the world.

  • @wrecksquad09 So a person has to be Thai to be an "ACTUAL" muay thai fighter?

  • @sleestakattack no can be whateva the race in the world. point being i never assumed anything. pssh shit im not thai and train muay thai and i love it.....

  • I think when I goof off I'm more serious than this. I'm too far away to call him out but bet big bucks we just watched a video make by punks.

  • they are obviously not fully training the technique, just going through the movements...dumbasses

  • These thai guys in thailand clearly have no idea what there talking about when it comes to muay thai, I the American Teenager on youtube, know exactly how this is meant to be done.

  • @neonblack88 well woopty fuckin doo

  • This is sorta how i did mine i tried to mimic how u guys did it check out the video when i did it tho!

Its on my profile Im ryan in the orange

  • @safersephiroth50 nice hit you got him on the sweet spot!!

  • @kirnehbjuhr Haha thanks man i got other videos if u wanna watch them too..

  • should turn de hip more..n twist in to gt full power..

  • the demonstration is not too good, i must say. his right hand is too low and his sholder should be protecting his chin alot better, incase his opponent was to counter strike. its always good practice! he also should finish more on the right hand side of his opponent. DO NOT pick up bad habbits all you will regret it!!!

  • I love all the people who rgue on the net lol

  • I see better action on Kathy Long's "Highlights" video.

  • Check out "Backfist Knockout!! Hug VS Miyamoto" to see what i was talking about before.

They guy changes direction trying to get off the ropes and bam, he gets cut off by the backfist

  • This is a great technique if you can execute it properly. First off it is extremely unorthodox. People might see it as a spinning kick and drop hands. It generates a ton of power. Best thing about it is that you use it to cut peoples movement off. If they are moving in circles around you or against the ropes/cage you cut them off with this technique for devastating results.

  • Wow are you really serious.... really.....? This move is a spinning back "FIST" not kick.... besides you use the spinning back kick the same way as i posted.... Also the unorthodox... well its not worth explaining it to someone like you Vampyre... think before you say anything cause u never know who you are talking to....

  • i learn that kinda technique on teakwondo.

I think it isnt a great technique cuz you turn your back to your opponment

  • it's much like any spinning kicks, except it's with your hands, if you don't like this technique, then I'd suggest you not to use any spinning kicks in a tournament

  • looks like a turnin backfist to me cos he steppin with the lead leg=/

  • turning, spinning, what's the difference?

  • turning is when you step with the lead leg, spinning is when you step across with the back leg making you spin not turn, don't ask me, just what ive been taught ha

  • lolwut?

  • This whole series is kind of weak...

  • i do not recommand you using this

opponent can kick your back cripple you for life

  • spinning back fist is one of the most effective moves in any martial arts. if you connect its almost always a knock out. this is done wrong as he finishes with his back to his opponent, however if he was executing the move properly he would probably be finishing in the right place as his momentum would carry him round

  • yes, since he is slowly demonstrating it he wont spin the whole way round

  • I do

  • i think that's not a good spinning back fist... who agree with me?!

  • its hardly a spin

  • I agree, its not great.

  • the best spinning back fist i've ever seen

  • @milano1919 lol 19 ppl

  • @milano1919 I agree!
