  • back when they were good...

  • back when will i am didn't have massive head

  • Oh..back when they sang about truly things not about party, drugs and dance in the club :(

  • I hate the music now :( i love this!!! i don't even want to know what kind of bullshit music will be playing in a couple of years ... i hope someone makes something like this again... </3

  • @SilverAndNeon I highly suggest Kana then. They are a french reggae band that totally remind me of this song.

  • i memorize will.i.ams part

  • Back when they were on the same level as Mos Def

  • OMG, I Love This Song Soooo Much!

  • This is dope!

  • Steel Pulse sample?

  • 4 people got hit by karma

  • I always get mad when I play this entire album, what a classic.....F-YOU MAINSTREAM for breaking up the real BEP.

  • So much better without Fergie. Smh.

  • money does horrible things to people. this shit is waaayyy better than everything they've done since this.

  • 4 is an even number fergie was a bad choice smh

  • Back when Will.I.am. actually gave a shit.

  • @mk741 why do you think he dosent care right now?

  • how did they go from this to what they are now

  • SelassieRastaDude

Most blame Fergie for ruining them, in reality BEP were on the verge of being dropped from their record label due to bad sales. The blame lies with their fans & bad promotion, their record producer asked them to make a more pop-orientated sound, Will refused because he knew it would be seen as ''selling out''. In the end he and the others agreed, Kim Hill left due to artistic differences ie ther new sound & fergie was called into sing the female on ''shut up''. Rest is history

  • dope track... b.e.p were better without fergie. shes fine n all, but she killed their hip hop side of their music. Fuck tha mainstream!!!

  • yo what happened to THE black eyed peas?

  • The echo of the 'Fuck you' that boomerangs to hurt your loved ones. (Wow, I know some folks that this line applies to, and they will suffer miserably when karma bites their ass!)

  • El raton-Cheo Feliciano is the soundback

  • Best BEP song that wasn't a hit.

  • they sold their soul. god is watching.

  • great shit! i like the new stuff as well, but in a different way. the new BEP stuff is more like a cute, cheerful boy you like to look at but who will be forgotten after the party is over, but this older music is like a mature lover who blows up your mind with his coolness... if you know what i mean..

  • @faustfee I couldn't have said it better

  • The Good Black eyed peas.

  • This is my favorite Black Eyed Peas song.

  • great song!!!!!LUV

  • ClAsSy SoNg

  • YA!♥

  • this song is my anthem for life.

  • I laugh at you noobs

I love their music, iff you dont like it then dont search it ? ....

  • Love it!

  • : *

  • This is really a great song! The lyrics, beat, rhythm, and meaning of this song make it so awesome! This has got to be the best hip-hop song I've heard. :D

By the way, I love the tribute at 2:48!!

  • @petmaster495 Wow! LOL I wasn't even paying attention to that... they're so clever, I wish they made more of this stuff :)

  • Praise Allah!

  • And now they are sued for plagiarism, in lack of ideas... What happend? Oh I remember... Fergie :p

  • back when black eyed peas was one of my favorite groups :(

  • This is a great song!!!

  • yes this is a great song! thanks for sending! awesome.. I gotta hijack it. :p

  • Es cierto, desde que entró Fegie el grupo dejo de cantar lo que era, ya no cantan rap, por favor Peas, vuelvan.

  • How is it "selling out?" Maybe they want to try new styles out. Maybe they want to appeal to a larger audience.

  • Thats what sellin out is. Changing your style of music to reach a larger audience! In other words not being true to your self in the name of selling more and making more money.

  • Maybe it's not about the money. Maybe they just want to appeal to a different audience. Maybe they're just trying to make everybody happy.

  • hahahahaha! Are you really that naive? They are trying to make everyone happy? Look at the comments, does it look like everyone is happy? Its impossible to make everyone happy! Why would u want to appeal to a different audience, unless that the new audience would mean more money? Come on man, wake the fuck up!

  • I know it's impossible to make everyone happy. I said TRYING. Just like I TRY to do at least one damn thing right for once in my damn life, but, as this exchange clearly proves, I'm incapable of doing so.

  • this is incredible. wish they were still like this.

  • ah, back when the Peas were awesome

  • What a bunch of sad sacks are doing posts here. I hated with former fans think that bands sell out cause they got more popular and make more money. The point of making good music and to have as many people as possible listen to it. That is the point. You guys just wanted their music for youselves? By your logic the band should stay underground, unpopular and to never change their sound.

  • i love your logic! haha

  • @Lacumbre79: It's not that they have become more popular -- it's that the music is now terrible. Just listen to their first album. It's unique, with masterly grooves, great rapping, slick ideas ... and now their music is garbage. Stuff simply made for radio play and dance club. Gone are the lyrics about things that matter. Gone is their unique sound. The edge is completely gone. I mean, this band squandered their talent for fame and cash. What else can you call that -- BUT "selling out"?

  • Their music is "terrible." Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a manner of opinion? Or are we all supposed to have the same opinion?

  • @RalphieLover

    why thumps down?

their music actually IS terrible, their music WAS a dream back in those days.

now they are similar to britney spears or something

  • @RalphieLover total agree !!!

  • @BillClintonn

I mean it's to the point where it's literally a different band. They don't make this kind of music anymore. and they have fergie now.

  • @BillClintonn thats what happened all the good Artists And Groups

  • @Lacumbre79

no its about that they made Hip Hop and now they simply dont

and then fergie joined and well.... yeah it turned into shit aka not hip hop

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • was a pleasure.

i'm soo glad that i ain't alone in my opinion that this old BEP shit is the real deal and the current LP and everything...something between crying and puking

  • *sigh* they were so cool back in these days :( Now they are just another plastic, manufactured band that is completley controlled by their record label, one that will be forgotten within a few years.

  • @handmiadenofgod they set a record for most consecutive weeks on top of the billboard chart by a band in 2009 with 26 weeks so i doubt they'll be forgotten anytime soon

  • They sounded like talib kweli in their first albums, then they made some sweet dance music with fergie, but now their newest album is a rancid piece of shit and I don't know how that happened

  • i think its coz they all went their own way after the album be4 their new one...

    made records wiv other people/singers...

Now they all joined back together and makin songs wiv all their different new style...

    Shame... :(

  • @incubus4769

I know elephunk was brilliant. I can't stand the new album it makes me wanna stab out my ears

  • I'm still trying to figure out why the early albums were popular, but didn't get them the $ or popularity that they have now. It just doesn't make sense.

  • @kittenstoes they sold out.

  • I dont know much about the newest two, but I really love that Elephunk album people. I know it's like kinda arty, they did loose something I'll admit, but Elephunk is a banging party album.

  • I remember when this album first came out I thought they were dope. Then I saw that video with Fergie and Justin Timberlake and was like WTF happened???

  • u u r talkin bout Where is the love...

i thought it was actually quite good...

But i never actually heard or seen Justin in that song...

  • Before that song they were real hip-hop artists. Then with Fergie they became a lame ass pop group. No offense to Fergie but come on. And that song '"where is the love" wasn't too bad except for the pop ass hook. At least they let the Indian rap in that one. Now they never let the Indian rap...ever.

  • @PancakeRecipes LULZ @ Indian.

  • they used to be better

  • what happend ? i want it back!!!

  • man fergie fuckd dem all up dey waz good til she came

  • yeb good old days- now this fergy ;.( they have sold themselfes

  • You tie the noose I kick the chair

I'm the cyanide that snatch(es) your live while you grasp for air

    Beautiful modern poetry.

  • blackeyed peas at there best, all went dowhill after

  • It's THIS record that does it. The girl ruined it for me. Puke.

  • This was from the good old days...

  • To jsou ale pííííči...proč stáhli ten videoklip!!!

  • if you like this, you'll like australian hiphop crew 'downsyde'. check em out. guru of gangstarr has appeared on one of their tracks, so you know they're cool.

  • that first response was pretty creepy, so i'll make a better one. Keep these videos up. The peak of bep's career is this music. Thanks

  • моя любимая песня.... ВЫГОНИТЕ ФЕРГ ИЗ СОСТАВА!!!!!

  • She said it's her favourite song.

Yes it's by far their best song. A shame what kind of music they did after these times.

  • blame it on the music industry in which they sold out to =(
