Being a member of the Planetary Society,I checked this out.The video is correct as to shape.However,it is enhanced.The picture was taken on SOL 1042 by the Panoramic camera.There is no evidence the shape is metalic.Anyone can look at any picture taken by either rover and put together any object their minds eye can imagine something resembles.If NASA thought it was metalic,why wasn't it examined further?They could've used the Mossbaer Spectrometer,Magnet,MI.or APXS?

@bestplugins I've caused evolution. just try to starve goldfish, and the longest lived ones, you breed, and keep doing that for about 3 years, and you get goldfish that have "adapted" to their environment of low food. you can also pick out the ones with darker/ lighter coloring, and the opposite color of what you picked will breed, causing the 4th of 5th generation to have some "camoflauge" from predators naturally. cool, right?

You can have aggressive fish with much smaller fish,they just have to be fed. When a human being gets involved it's not longer evolution but structured forced changes. There is very little if any evolution anymore. We only allow other things to stuggle for survival. What about pets?
